The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F#ck is coincidentally not about NOT giving an entire f#ck but moreso about how to correctly measure life vices outside of social media's reality that everything must be positive and perfect. Manson informs readers that you must be aware of what is worth giving your f#cks too and what's worth letting go. He tells the reader that we must go through things for personal growth and development. The good, the bad and the ugly is what broadens your character. In the book, you learn how the bad and the ugly gives you the greatest personal growth, therefore, attempting to cockblock everything negative is counterproductive.
Other sections in Manson's book suggest embracing your struggles and learning from them. It gives details on how to self-reflect, take accountability, be decisive, decide when to let it go, and evaluate your values and use realistic measures for your situation and not everyone else's. I highly encourage everyone to read this book. The language, storytelling, and easy readability make it difficult to put this best seller down.
